How Can We Help?
In-Person
6 Sessions over 12 Weeks
Every other Friday 1:30-3:30
Ages: 22+ who may be struggling with depression and looking for support and guidance
Starts April 11th

Purpose: Expressing and understanding emotions is essential for mental well-being, yet many men face barriers to open conversations about their struggles. This group offers a supportive space for men experiencing depression to build self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop healthier ways to manage stress. Through guided discussions and shared experiences, members will explore the impact of societal expectations, emotional triggers, and coping strategies. Topics such as communication, boundaries, and personal growth will help participants navigate challenges with greater confidence. By connecting with others who understand their experiences, members can break down stigma and foster a sense of camaraderie. Each session encourages self-reflection and practical skill-building to promote lasting emotional well-being. No one has to go through this alone—this group provides a space for support, connection, and growth.
Group structure: All group sessions will begin with an open discussion for group members to share thoughts, updates, progress, and/or setbacks about the previous week. Group members are encouraged to share only to the extent that they feel comfortable. Each week a new topic and discussion prompt is presented by the group facilitator, along with an activity. To end the group session members will summarize the week’s topic, discuss goals to work on before the next meeting, and are encouraged to participate in a short mindfulness exercise. Group structure is subject to change based on group members’ needs during sessions.
