Mental Health Counseling Intern

Hello and welcome! I am warm, compassionate, and dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complexities of life. I deeply believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, and my goal is to support you on your journey.

In our work together, I aim to create a collaborative and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is non-judgmental and inclusive, welcoming individuals from all walks of life, including those from the LGBTQIA+ community.

I specialize in working with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, and substance use disorders. I tailor my approach to fit your unique needs and goals, integrating various techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative therapy. For deeper exploration, I rely on psychodynamic approaches.

As a counselor in training, I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Counseling at Northwestern University. Under the supervision of experienced professionals and with 7 years of experience working in social services, I am committed to providing empathetic and effective therapy.

Together, we can explore and address the challenges you face and foster deeper connections with yourself and others. Let's embark on this journey of healing and growth, working towards the fulfilling life you deserve.
