Virginia Calderon
Mental Health Counseling Intern
Driven by a commitment to foster individual growth, my therapeutic approach employs evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and narrative therapy to assist clients in unlocking client potential. As a bilingual therapist fluent in both English and Spanish, I provide unwavering support as we navigate life's diverse challenges together.
I'm a big advocate for the transformative power of talk therapy, prioritizing a tailored approach that ensures my clients' comfort. I respect each client as the expert in their own life and appreciate the resilience we can nurture through positive relationships.
My academic journey commenced at Northeastern University Boston, where I secured a Bachelor's degree in Communication. Furthering my knowledge, I earned a Master's in Integrated Marketing Communications from Emerson College, Boston, and am currently finalizing a Master's in Social Work at Western New Mexico University.
My wealth of experience includes working with teens, adults, and older adults from various cultural backgrounds and dealing with diverse life challenges. When not dedicated to my practice, I relish the adventures of traveling, hiking, and spending time with my husband, two children, and our dog, Peanut.
